Well , yes , she has been in breach of immigration rules , however , that is rarely a refusal factor and down to the UKBA whether to disregard that as you know , being granted citizenship is not an entitlement but a discretion . But i have heard of people , plenty of them , who were in total breach ...

Is it possible to apply for a British citizenship directly without going through ILR? if so, what is the procedure?

Thank You!

yes both Referees were British and the 2nd Referee sigend for the pic aswell. on the form it says that it requires two Referees Not sure what you mean by signing for the picture (that is required for passport applications, but not for naturalisations). What Jambo meant is: one reference needs to be...

However, the OP can correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears he has let one inside of his home. As trivial as it may seem, being "caught watching TV without a license" is to this day a crminial offence. True. Assuming that the OP has let those cutthroat brigands into his home (a mistake wh...

Wow harsh. If you look I've just joined this board, so no, I have no idea as to the approval time. I was told that if you don't hear from the UKBA within 6 months that is not unusual. The fact that you can't follow up with them until the 6 month mark (which still hasn't come about) means to me that...
