I rang the contact centre and they said that is best to send it through the post signed for as they have a backlog of 6 weeks on the emails. Make sure you include your case id if known...

Re: may have made mistake on application?

Thanks Kautya.

You mentioned that you got reply in 2 days.

Was this a reply to the email you sent to furthernationalityenquiries@homeoffice.gov.uk

Or a reply to the letter you posted, which they received and then replied you via email?

Re: may have made mistake on application?

To which email address?

Do you think it can have negative impact on application by sending them a separate cover letter as we forgot this as part of the initial application we submitted?

Re: may have made mistake on application?

I called them and was told to send cover letter to the Liverpool address as you gave above. Only difference is they told me to put Department 4 instead of Department 1, as you write above. They said that the department 1 is for paper based applications and department 4 is for online applications. Wh...

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Thanks CR001 for quick reply.

There is one option saying ‘provide proof of living in the Uk’

How will my wife proof this requirement if she doesn’t submit these latest council tax and gas/elec bills?

Thanks

Re: Experiences using new UKVCAS for naturalisation/citizenship applications

Hi All

Just a quick question.

We have an appointment coming up soon.

Previously you/kids could accompany or go with your husband/wife to their appointment at premium appointment centres.

Can you join your partner to go in ukvicas center or only the applicant is allowed to go in?

Thanks
