Change name after getting maried

Hi all, I am planning to get married soon, but I am wondering if I would need to renew my Registration Certificate (for Bulgarians and Romanians), and how I could do that? Both my boyfriend and me have obtained those registration certificates in January 2007, giving us the right to love and work fre...

And to continue... Bulgarians and Romanians ARE now a part of EU, but these are THE ONLY two EU counties which have restrictions to work in the UK. Also, highly skulled Bulgarians and Romanians should apply for certificate (the same as visa), confirming their highly-skilled status, and in order to q...

Any highly skilled individual should be in demand in their industry and thus should be able to command a salary appropriate to their claimed skills. Rich ZA, "a salary appropriate to their claimed skills" is not necessary the salary needed to secure FLR - there are different industries an...

Thanks for that. From what I've read already this certificate is NOT necessary, but I can if I wish to request one. It is just to confirm the status, not to switch to another one. That's why it can't be possible to reset the clock for ILR, see below: You will not require a work authorisation documen...

And if a Romanian/Bulgarian is already in the UK on HSMP, the route to ILR and British citizenship may be shorter than switching to EU status. Do you mean that if I request a registration certificate I will switch to EU status? Having that certificate, would I be able still to apply for HSMP extens...

I do have actually HSMP visa, which I obtained 2 years ago, and now I have FLR under HSMP. Instead of going through the same process of obtaining certificate for HSMP (and the application for that is the same as for initial applicant), I would rather complete just one form (if br1 is the one for me)...

Many thanks, Jes!
Bulgaria is not on the list for the countries which are permitted to holiday work visas, unfortunately. But I think my sister would be happy (well, more than me at least) not to work and just to enjoy herself for the summer 8)

Thanks again!

Hi there, My question is related to the student visas where the course is less than 6 months (it's 1 month actually, 15 hours per week). My sister, who lives in Bulgaria, is planning to come to London under a student visa and to try to improve her English. She already has a visitor visa which expire...

I am going to apply in a few days.
But my question is Is it possible to apply online????
Do you think I will have less chance if I apply online as my documens will be scanned (not hard copies)?

Thank you all of you in advance.
