Could you please advise if my Wife needs to have Life in UK to apply for FLR(M)?

I thought it is needed only when she will apply for indefinite leave but one of my friend says she needs for FLR(M) as well.

Hi. Just a quick question guys. I am in the process of applying for my Indefinite leave on 10 years basis. Just had a quick question to my mind thought to ask.

If I have a Driving Licence that is registered on different address, would it make a difference while applying for ILR?
