Its been exactly 9 months since I applied for ILR and still nothing. I was one of the first people to get my biometric invitation in october (as an August applicant), and I think they're working backwards from biometric order!

I am just curious and I don't want to open the pandora's box, but is it possible that being on the student visa for the required 10 years actually adversely affects the application? This is my timeline:

Application sent: 10th August
Application received (letter): 22nd August but dated 17th August
Biometrics Invitation: 15th October
Biometrics done: 15th October

Now just waiting for my decision.
