Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

I am not pointing out or picking up anyone here but these 1 week/2 weeks approvals seem unreal to me when there r people waiting for ages. Rules are/should be same for everyone, If HO is doing extra scrutiny (coz of that famous report on 11 Dec) for one then it should be done for all. OR does anybo...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Hi, I've applied at the end of November 2014, money were withdrawn on 12th of December. But no acknoledgement letter or any news since then. I thought it would take about 2 months, so was not bothered, but now, having read this forum, it looks like so many people received approvals within one month....

Premium Appointment in Croydon for ILR

Hi everyone. What photocopies should I bring with me. I got loads of documents and would like to save some trees. Is it necessary to copy bank statements? Should I photocopy entire passport, brp and visas? I don't need originals of payslips and letters. Thanks!

ILR based on the combination of WP and Tier1

Hi everyone. Well, it looks like I am up for attempting getting ILR second time (last time it was refused due to long business absences from the UK). And this time I am doing this without solicitors hrrr.... It's been 5 years since my last project abroad, so I am assuming its end as my date of the r...

Hi Galathea, so you calculated the 5 year period like: Jan 13 to Jan 12 Jan 12 to Jan 11 Jan 11 to Jan 10 Jan 10 to Jan 09 Jan 09 to Jan 08 rather than counting it backwards from the date of your application? Also can you list out your absences from UK? dates? No, I was applying before new rules ca...

tom.tom , what date do you intend to apply for ILR? As you entered on 27 April 2007, technically you would have been eligible to apply up to 28 days before 27 April 2012; but I presume you delayed applying either due to your absences or some other reason? Your annual absences should be counted back...

Ah, i can feel the pain, I went through same. Be patience, ask your solicitor to write them a refusal reconsideration letter that you fall in old rules. It may help. Thank you for the support. Back to reality now, compared to highly bureaucratic society I left in my home country I thought things ar...

Dear Spidery Thread

:) actually she is quite proactive on her own: calling them, then updating us or advising us on the next options. It's just I am not comfortable with pushing the envelope too far because our case is not very straitforward.

Re: ILR

Hi Galathea, Did you call UKBA or wrote to the Liverpool Settlement Team? I you have not, I would suggest call UKBA and insist to speak to a supervisor, you have to be really firm on you request to speak to the supervisor. They can provide you a specific address to write to your caseworker directly...
