Re: NCS or Post? Which one is faster?

I used my local NCS yesterday and think that it is a great service. I wish that they could provide this service for a first passport application. I don't like the idea of being without the original citizenship certificate and my passport.

Other Names - if my Name is John and I have no second name do I just put John or repeat my surname as well. 1.17. Address for last 5 years - If the address I have stayed at that I put as my current address in 1.16...

Is there a payment form you have to fill in for the NCS? Or just pay with a debit card in the office whe...

Hi, I would like to clarify 2 things regarding the application: 1. The referee can only sign up to a month before submission of the application (I have read this and also read a 6 month window period, just want clarity on this). 2. If I cannot get an appointment with the NCS is it possible to post c...

I have read lots of posts but there is no answer to this question: Do the referees have to sign the back of the photo or just the form. Thanks

I don't want to blame anyone and if it is unsuccessful all that would happen is they ask me for another referee and there is a delay. What I am trying to establish, through trying to tap into the collective wisdom of the board, is the plausibility of my friend acting as my referee as I so outlined b...

The list is not exhaustive and that is why I wanted clarification. When I arrived in the UK I registered with a doctor's surgery but only went for a general checkup that was needed in order to register with them in the first place, this appointment was with a nurse. Other than that I have had no use...

6 month Schengen visa

My sister, who is now living in the UK (on an ancestral visa), was issued a 6 month schengen visa previously - which is still valid. The country that issued it was Spain, and she has visited there on this visa previously. Is she now allowed to use it for any EU country she wishes and not necessarily...

Sorry to hi-jack this thread. But if I am applying for citizenship, at the end of year, and got ILR through UK Ancestry and am self employed, do I also have to submit those documents, or does it only apply to people applying for citizenship solely on being self employed. Thanks
