We had a child who now holds a British Passport and born in UK. Does that mean I the 18600 thershold still applies or £22000 for FLR? I understand the 22k is for only non uk children.

Hello

My wife is free to travel back to the UAE to see family etc.

But will this effect her visa if she travels for long periods e.g 3 weeks or effect anything when we apply for FLR? Considering she only entered uk 1 month after the visa was granted.

What happens now......................?

So my wife has been granted LTR for 2.5 years as a spouse (visa).

Do I then apply FLR (which one ?) and prove again the same things I prove in the LTR application once the 2.5 comes to an end?

Then after 5 year we can apply for ILR? Does this involves financial requirement etc ?

I'm not sure if we're allowed to link to other immigration forums, so I'll just quote what a well-regarded mod on one of them said on the issue without directly attributing: The wording can be clearer, but what the UKBA means by Category A is someone who has one job working for one employer earning...

Applying online for my wife (from UK)

I am applying now on Visa4uk.fco.gov.uk, At the end of the spouse form it doesn't give me an option to complete the Appendix 2 VAF 4A financial requirement online, so I just print off and complete it and submit at the embassy?

Yes, if you have two jobs it changes the nature of the requirement. Then the requirement is that you have earned at least £18,600 gross, over the course of the last 12 months . Show as many payslips as you need, to evidence this. Oh and I believe you must have been in at least one of the jobs for s...
