My Question is, Does my new Visa will start from the Date I have applied for visa (01-Oct-2015) or it will start from the Start Date of New COS (01-Jan-2016) ?
Does it really matter?

You will receive a new BRP with Expiry date as : 1 Jan 2019 or 1 Feb 2019 (plus one month)
and a Issue date.

I do agree with jibri, because I had similar problem in SOC 2132 between software engineer and Programmer. My role is close to software engineer but salary is less compared to SOC software engineer salary(30100), so i asked my employer to change my role to programmer(26000).
