Re: Child Benefit Eligibility - Should i claim??

This might be too specific a question for CB but, do you know, if I apply for the CB (i.e the applicant) can I give my wife's bank account details so that she gets the CB payments? Or does it have to be the account of the person applying?

Re: Child Benefit Eligibility - Should i claim??

Assuming my son is BC, He is as he was born after you obtained ILR. It makes no difference if a child is not BC in terms of Child Benefits. 1) Is he entitled to Child (or any other benefit)? Children don't claim benefits. It is the qualifying parent who claims and as you have ILR and now citizenshi...

Child Benefit Eligibility - Should i claim??

Hi I attended citizenship ceremony on 2nd June 2015. My son was born on 29th May 2015. The mother (my wife) is on Spouse Visa currently. Assuming my son is BC, 1) Is he entitled to Child (or any other benefit)? 2) If he is, can claiming those benefits impact on mother's future ILR and BC application.

Is this if I am applying for his passport at the same time as mine.

If I apply for mine first, then what do I need to send with his passport application?

Calling mother in law who left in Nov 2014

my mother in law visited my sister in law last year and left in end of November 2014. She has a 2 year visa. When is the earliest she can return on that. Apparently you have to wait for at least 6 months in between visits even if you have a valid visa?
Can someone please respond

Child born in UK to ILR father and Spouse Visa Mother

Hi, we are expecting our first child to be born this June (iA). I have been granted citizenship (ceremony 2nd June 2015). My wife is on Spouse visa. What is the process of registering the child etc. Am I right to assume that the child will automatically be considered British ?

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Does anyone know whether they can book Ceremony in a different council to their local one which HO have chosen. The one at mine is over 4 weeks away.

Please let me know if someone has managed to do that.
