This post has confused me somewhat, are we saying that if the baby is born before naturalisation of parent, he/she is not a British Citizen? Someone please clarify!

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Guess what folks, I have got HO letter requesting original passport or travel document covering period from 05/12/2009 to 08/07/2009. This is 'apparently' requested to meet residence requirement. Applied on 03/12/14 still waiting. So guys just wait, don't be anxious. Wait is never easy but the upside is going to be positive. Just because ours is taking long doesn't mean there is an issue, it just means that due to some extra checks that got in place last year, some of applications will take ...

Re: Naturalisation application processing timelines (only)

Alot of people on here pay the extra fee for NCS. But it doesn't necessarily make it faster. I sent my app via post next day special delivery (~£7) and received the approval as fast as anyone else that paid the extra for NCS. I don't see the point of it unless they give you back your original passp...

Re: Dependant permitted family from Pakistan

Sorry about hijacking this post, I am in the same situation.

How does one exercise treaty rights (I mean what is it). I am a BC and wish to sponsor my family who are entirely (and have been so for over 7 years) dependent on me ?

Please advise.

Hey people pliz don't causr unnecessary protest.... If this was a third world country, I would agree that I would sit back and not cause a stir in fear of the organisation hitting back and making it even harder. Re: Visitor Visa for mother - deported in 2007

hi Amber, I know the last on this thread was sometime ago. Unfortunately the question still applies.

Do you know whether 10years limit would still apply if I was able to make a case for my wife previous health issues ?

I would really appreciate some guidance on this please.

Thanks so much for your kind replies. Recent FOI figures showing a huge backlog and I think average time is around 8/9 months now except the lucky ones who are getting the decisions quicker. Surely, they is a way to raise our protest at a public forum where our concerns can be heard and reach out t...

Not seen many December 2014 approvals yet.. so hard to predict HO's pattern of processing applications.

Re: ILR options for my wife PLEASE advise...

obie

thanks for advice, but my decision to leave UK is dependent on how wife's ILR is affected.

Could you at least point me to the provision you are referring and I will explore this further on my own?
