Re: Travelling on FLR - M Visa

Thanks CR001

Also, i am currently unemployed as i resigned from my job and in middle of changing employers, starting with new employer in July 2014. Could this be an issue on my wife's visa when we return from holiday.
I was employed at the time she was given the FLR M ?

Travelling on FLR - M Visa

Gurus I am an ILR holder and my wife recently converted her Tier 2 dependent visa to FLR M visa. We are planning to go away for 2 weeks in June this year. And also for another 6 weeks later this year in October. I wanted to ask whether the time spent outside the UK above will count against her in fu...

Thanks Amber. One final query, I changed employer in December 2013, would I need the same letter from previous employer and also do I need to supply 12 months payslips?

Re: FLR-M at Glasgow PEO - ILR Dep. Rule Change PLEASE ADVIS

Hmm, i will speak with employer and see if they can avoid mentioning the redundancy.

regarding 5 year route to settlement, do you also have to wait another year for nationality. So are we talking 6 years for BC ?

FLR-M at Glasgow PEO - ILR Dep. Rule Change PLEASE ADVISE

Dear Gurus i need an urgent advice on my matter as today at Glasgow PEO, my application has been deferred due to below Case Facts: I got ILR (Long residence) in Nov 2013. My wife at that time was Tier 2 dependent. Before this, my wife joined me in UK as Work permit dependent in June 2011. My underst...

Re: FLR M, Job MUST or enough savings.... Redundancy on card

ss thanks for your reply. i assume A1 level is ESOL Entry level 1. Does this need to be in 'Listening and Speaking' only or in Reading and Writing also ? just to clarify your earlier response, if i don't have a job, then she will be refused spouse visa even though she came to UK before July 2012 ? i...

FLR M, Job MUST or enough savings.... Redundancy on cards !

Respected Gurus and members i am a ILR holder since 22.11.13. My wife was and still is tier 2 dependent as she is waiting to pass ESOL and LIUK. I have a job now but i have been told that some staff will be made redundant soon. My question is that for FLR M visa application for my wife, do i need to...

if she submits the naturalization application without the LIUK certificate (As it wasn't returned by PEO officer on her ILR application same day appointment) can the application be refused for incomplete documents ?

Re: Naturalisation query for a divorcee, PLEASE ADVISE !

thanks CR001 I think too that she is better off applying in December 2014. However i am told that from March/April 2014 the LIUK test will be upgraded to 4th edition, does that mean if she applies in December 2014 she will need another LIUK test or the one she used for her ILR application in June 20...

Re: Naturalisation query for a divorcee, PLEASE ADVISE !

Thank you CR0001 and JustWondering

Does she need to submit the original passport/birth certificate or a copy. As I mentioned above they are separated so not sure if husband will oblige with the request of giving her the passport.

Also which form does she need to fill ?

Thanks in advance

Re: Naturalisation query for a divorcee, PLEASE ADVISE !

Thank you both for responding. I have confirmed with her, she has not been divorced although they live separate. Can she still apply now or she has to wait till December 2014? Regards LIUK certificate, i was thinking whether its worth requesting SAR file as they might have a copy of her LIUK certifi...

Naturalisation query for a divorcee, PLEASE ADVISE !

My friend got divorced recently. She came in UK in December 2009 as a spouse of BC, got ILR in June 2012 and got divorced recently. She has been told by few solicitors that she can now apply for BC, however standard BC requirements indicate that you have got to be in UK for 5 years before time of BC...

Is adequate maintenance a requirement for FLR M or SET M or both? Would 3 month's bank statements plus recent payslips suffice as proof for adequate maintenance?
