Re: UK Vistor Visa From Ukraine

Thanks for the replies.
She applied for and received 2 x 6 month visa from Norway for UK, and travelled here and returned to Norway 5 times in 18 months, but like i say, she was in full time work in Norway, i hear its quite difficult for single woman to get visa from Ukraine.

If he gets DLA he'll be exempt from the financial commitment, but he must show he can ' adequately ' maintain & accommodate you without further claim of benefits. The Immigration Rules set out that ‘adequate’ and ‘adequately’ in relation to a maintenance and accommodation requirement shall mean ...

I don't understand this, ok if you are claiming DLA then you are exempt from the financial criteria ie £18,600. Normally if you were on DLA you would also be getting other benefits and/or Housing Benefit and that would mean you can't sponsor someone because you are living on public funds? Is that c...

I have never claimed benefits apart from my DLA. that was my only income at the time of application submitted. If i claimed IS would it be counted towards the adequate maintenance figure of £482.95 ???? If i've read the latest directive correctly, all benefits count towards ' adequate maintenance. ...

Re: dla exemption of financial requirement

No but the maintenance requirement needs to be met. I understand anyone who is disabled can only use DLA in calculations of providing adequate maintenance of their spouse, does anyone know approx the amount of money that is acceptable? and can savings be taken into consideration? Any replys appreci...

What is that amount?
Its about 800 a month, but i'm not sure all the benefits can be used in the calculations of providing adequate maintenence for my spouse.

Re: Disabled Sponsor Advice

Does our application have a chance of success on the evidence from above? What evidence? You've said absolutely nothing about your income vs expenditure. My only income is from the benefits i've mentioned, plus a few thousand in the bank, my partner will also bring about £2,000 with her. Expenditur...
