Discrimination or reverse discrimination I'm not sure, I just know it's a complete farce and would love to have a debate with the people that dreamed up these rules... I'm guessing they don't have non-EU spouses....

Cheers

Thanks for the replies... reverse discrimination is the term I was looking for. Reducing net migration is one thing, interfering with the right to family life of your own citizens while hiding behind 'public interest' is quite another. In my opinion it's disgusting that the government can meddle in ...

Is the UK in the EEA or not? Government clearly can't decide

Can anybody explain a simple query? I have thought about this and tried to work it out, but I just can't see how it makes any sense.... I have been looking for a course also.... the OISC seem to make it as hard as possible to qualify. Most other professional bodies set our clearly the study routes and give a list of approved organisations that provide the study courses. OISC don't bother with that, they leave it open so students hav...

1) You could - but you'd instantly have to provide 12 months of salary proof, not 6 - the requirement which limits you to 6 months payslips/bank statements is that you've been employed by the same employer for more than 6 months. 2) In theory, you could leave the job and the ECO might be none the w...

Financial requirements - Sponsor changing jobs

Hi All, Having searched the forum I am really grateful for all the contributions, however I have one remaining question, it would be great if anybody out there has the answer :) I have lived abroad for the past four years, where I met my wife - we married two years ago and have lived together since....
