Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

InsureAndGo WORLDWIDE travel insurance is not the same as comprehensive medical insurance. It does not count I am afraid. But do contact with your current insurance company ask them this. Perhaps they can upgrade your current policy or you can get a discount on comprehensive sickness insurance. I kn...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Great, thanks! My very last question to you (if you know it, of course) - I actually have got an annual InsureAndGo WORLDWIDE insurance certificate starting from 04 April 2015. I got it for travel purposes, but I wonder - does it count to be a comprehensive medical cover ( the one HO asks for). I am...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

I hope you will get job ASAP :) Regarding the insurance, I mean there are plenty out there. I would go for the cheapest option available to be honest. Their coverage is pretty much the same. Check their policies before signing up any of them. Your 14K bank account sounds more than sufficient to me :...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hello Forza, thanks for getting back to me. On 20 December 2015 will be exactly 5 years I first immigrated to the UK as a EU family member. Since that i always worked, and my ex husband did too ( before we got divorced). I quit my job on 31.03.2015 and stayed unemployed whole April, then I was overs...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

May I know what you are looking to call or email them about? You may want to clarify things but most times their responses are general and given by the customer service personnel and not caseworkers. I think if you do the basic homework of proofing activities hy Dec you should be fine. I have ROR m...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi guys, Have read through whole discussion, but couldn't find an answer on my question. Will try to be short and clear. I've retained my rights after the divorce, and since I first immigrated to the UK as a family member of EEA national in December 2010 I was employed ( same as my ex husband). How...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

I don't know much about the different health insurance but as you rightly said it has to be comprehensive medical insurance. You will need to get one ASAP. Your travel insurance will not suffix. With the savings, in my humble opinion, I think you should be fine with it. The problem will be the insu...

Re: Application for PR or PR card: form EEA (PR) - UpToDate

Hi Nyamebeye, Many thanks for you reply. I wonder, if providing bank statements with sufficient funds ( over 14K savings) would be enough, what you think? Regards to a "comprehensive sickness insurance cover" - what sort of insurance they mean, do you know? I have got insurance certificate...

Re: visa free regime

Hello, Loveforlove, yes, I'm holding UK residence card as a family member of EU national, endorsed in my passport. As far as I know, if you are travelling together to EU countries with your EU partner, you are eligible to travel without visa, just with your UK residence card. However if you are trav...

visa free regime

Hi guys, I'm holding Residence card as a family member of EU national. Can you advise me on which countries I can go without visa and without my husband? P.S. I've been already to Czech Republic, with no visa. But e.g. Germany doesn't allow visa free regime unless you are travelling with your EU par...

Study abroad

Hello everyone,
I am holding UK residence card (valid till 2016) as a spouse of EU national and would like to study (for 1.5 years) in Australia. Is it possible to keep my UK residency while studying abroad or will I lose my status here?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you!
