Put simply he won't be able to switch inside the UK to a spouse visa. To be able to switch he would need a visa which is longer than 6 months and either he or his partner needs to earn over £18,600 or have £62,500 in savings. If your salary is less than £18,600 you can make up the shortfall with cas...

If you're looking to sponsor a future spouse to the UK ensure you have followed the guidelines set by the UKBA on overseas divorces which are recognised under UK law http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/guidance/ecg/set/set13/ If you write to the UKBA referencing your previous letter you s...

They will not speed up the processing of your application unless there are special circumstances. Everyone wants their spouse in the UK as soon as possible :D

My understanding is that there must have been a CAS issued, and that is required for your new visa application. Not sure how a group transfer works, maybe someone else can comment on that. Either way, travelling outside of the UK without a visa covering your new course will be highly risky until you...

Was your existing tier 4 visa curtailed by the UKBA?

By enrolment letter do you mean a CAS?

If your new application is refused you will have no valid reason entry to the UK.

Something doesn't sound right here, so he was off sick for 6 months...did he get approved absence from his college? Otherwise Under UKBA rules, the college should have reported him for non-attendance and his tier 4 visa should have been curtailed to 60 days. Unfortunately he has little chance of swi...

That's truly shocking....3 years of waiting. You do get the impression that the UKBA is not staffed by humans but robots.

Can I ask on what grounds you were refused in the previous applications?

Wishing you all the best. [/quote]

Yes strange that it sounds you'll have to complete those details again. The FLR form will have changed by then, God knows what else they will ask for in 2 yrs time.

And yes, i believe you'll have to do the English test again and not only that, it is being raised to B1 from October 2013!

If time is important to you I'd go for a fresh application. The audited v unaudited accounts, I don't see any set requirement in the immigration rules so I guess it's down to each ECO to use their judgement. One thing I know about the UKBA, always be cautious in situations like this and therefore pr...

No you don't need a return ticket. Most airlines don't even allow you to buy a ticket more than 12 months in the future anyway!
