One more question, as you suggested that I should request that my application be treated for leave outside the Rules (LOTR), may I have a right of appeal under this Rule in case of refusal?

Therefore, there are two rules applicable at the same time, first one calendar month gap between course start date and visa expiry date, second 3 months before the beginning of the course, if the course lasts longer than 6 months.
