Passport Expiry date

Hi my husband is applying for a spouse visa, his visa expires in november 2014, is it ok to travel on this visa? or should he get a new one before applying?

Now im reading other stories, it does seem long, he has never been in the UK or applied for anything for the UK. Thank you for your advice though I will keep everyone posted of hows it going and maybe it might help other people too

Thank you for this post Im glad there are making an inquiry, here in the south of England the average wage is 15,000-16,000, i have my own home and have never lived of benifits yet this particular law could potentially stop me from being with my husband becuase I only earn the average wage.

No my husband has never been to the UK, we both worked on the cruise ships for many years, we stopped in Dover but had our american working visas as we worked for a US company. Dont think this really counts
