We applied on 9th October and still waiting. MP is involved but so far no joy.

I cannot believe we are being help captive in the country by the UKBA.

My wife submitted an application for a surname change on her spouse visa in the first week of October. We have had the visa since January 2012 as an unmarried couple but married in April 2012 - hence the change of name. Within a month they asked us to re-submit biometrics - which we did immediately....
