Its very good that you have done research on issue of Skilled Immigration but i think there is always a room for improvement. You should try to do some further research about the Income levels in UK. I think the Income criteria set for a young person is not at all realistic. On basis of my personal a...

Rich ZA It should not be a question whether the HMSP's holder are in demand in UK or not. This should have been assessed by Home office while they applied for Initial HSMP. Once assessed and approved by Home office there is no logic to say that most of them have skills which is no more in demand; co...

I agree that there are better countries to live and earn. But HSMPs community stands no where. 90% won't be able to get extensions/ ILR due to these recent rules. Even if we have to go back to our Home countries we will be in a same situation when we arrived in UK. We will have to take a start from ...

I come across at least three applicants who applied though not rejected but likely to be rejected coz they are given 28 days to switch over to work permitt. I am aware of one case where his extension was not rejected and given a time to arrange a work permitt, that person applied for workpermitt thr...

Dear Pentaiema I do not agree and i have personally seen people IN UK who are illegal and getting all the benefits. I think the HSMPs who came to UK were the cream strata in their respective countries & they didnt had to forged docs to come into UK. It was in fact Home Office Juicy but deceitful...

Needa khan we are sailing in same boat. I am also given a one year visa so in principle we should be given at least one year more extension if we have to be dealt under new rules. I think becoming an illegal is more beneficial in current circumstances coz illegal immigrant / failed asylum seekers are offered Cash Incentive for voluntary return and also if they prefer to stay they dont pay any taxes at all.

So even if some one completes a 16 years study from Pakistan ( MA/ MSC) they fall into this category of Graduate level. I am not sure about B.Ed bu...
