Technically if you are on a WP, you wouldn't ever be unemployed (as that is a employer sponsored immigration category). So therefore during the time period you are on a WP you will need to show that you met the requirements of that WP (this is usually done using your P60). Many thanks. Totally agre...

The fact that you were unemployed for a 6 month period on its own, will not affect your ILR application. I.e. there is no requirement that you need to be employed throughout every month of the 5 year residence period. Your P60's can serve as proof that you were economically active over the residenc...

HMRC P60's PEO in 2 weeks

Senior members/Guru's

I have received the letter from HMRC in reference to all 5 years P60's. two things they haven't mentioned it correctly:-

1. My full name is not used
2. One number in postcode is wrong.

Could that be a possible issue? Got PEO Appointment in Solihull

True it is quicker. You save yourself from 6 months waiting when you apply through PEO.

Also premium service is only for straightforward cases. If you think your case is complicated where CW would need to do further necessary checks, you are better of applying via post.

Plus postal is cheaper

Re: What if I quit my job after getting ILR from Tier 2?

I've been working on a Work Permit/Tier 2 (general) in the UK for the last 4.5 years. Which means in 6 months I qualify for Indefinite Leave to Remain. From reading the information on the Home Office website, apparently I need a letter from my employer stating that they continue to require my emplo...

My settlement BRP is valid until 2022. Does this mean I have to apply for BRP again after 10 years? Or do I need to just get a new BRP card with a new picture? I thought the "Indefinite Leave to Remain" is valid for ever? Congrats :) Finally. ILR is valid forever. You just need to get you...

You can do this over the phone, they will ask you for the details such name, NI number, current address, previous address etc. If some of the security questions dont match you will be asked to send a letter.

They are normally very quick in sending employment history letters out.

You are best to seek professinal advice from a solicitor on this matter.

As per my knowledge, this will affect your visa extention

Can you please elaborate what did the caseworker asked you about the bank statements? Was it in reference to a particular transaction or name/address issue etc?

I will say this again as I have repeated over and over again in the past. Do not take anything that is not required. You do not need a summary letter / cover letter. It's simply a waste of time, paper and effort. A summary letter is not required and will not assist in your case unless there is some...

Also get in touch with your local MP as they do have a say. Explain your situation and also keep on calling/pestering home office. Try to call once a day, that will help speed things up

If home office has mentioned that your case falls outside the 95% category then dont think you can do anything else apart from waiting patiently.

You can only book an appointment 42 days in advance via HO website. So if you are checking now, it will only show you all the appts available till 13th feb.I booked Solihull 2 weeks ago around 1.30am so recommend try around that time

Correct. Thats what I think but you are better to check with a senior member or get a professional advice. Contact any solicitor and they will be able to confirm that as part of their free pre assessment.

According to the new rules, you are eligible to apply for ILR if you haven't had any conviction in the last 24 months. You conviction is still unspent though, but that won't affect your ILR. Though they have changed the rules to apply for ILR that doesn't mean your conviction has been spent. It stil...
