Last time i checked you can not email or ring them. only write a letter to them (they dont reply) you get only an acknowledgement.

Was only asking, I know few people who were required to do it. I haven't been asked yet. Just hope that the next letter will come with positive news.

Guys, my advice is to update the application regularly, every month or so, with up to date proof of address/ proof of address of the child, and other evidence that you are caring for the child. i made my application 7 months ago, got letter which required further info, which i submitted. i last heard from them 10 weeks ago when they acknowledged the doc they had asked for. how long does it take? waiting for the 'brown envelop' is taking its toll on me. thanks.
