Thank You guys for answers Apparently, I've already complained to Solvit and European Commission, I also wrote a letter to visa manager asking for review of a decision, basing on the fact that it is only necessary to prove family link by providing marriage certificate and we don't need to prove that...

Welcome everybody again So we have second refusal of FP on similar ground as before, however this time we are not claimed to be marriage of convenience. This time the letter states that we are not durable relationship because we failed to provide evidence of mutual cohabitation and assets. As a matt...

Thank You Guys, But it seems to me that is not really automatic, since I need to apply for confirmation. Why not? You don't need to apply for a confirmation and your status is not affected whether you apply or not. On my birthday I will become 1 year older even if I don't have a birth certificate t...

Permanent residency status in UK

Some time ago I read on the forum that if I have residence card in UK, then it is very likely that after 5yrs I should have gotten myself permanent residence without even applying for it. Is that so? I am interested to find some answers to my questions, hope somebody can advice. Is there any regulat...

I would add something else here, I think many people fail with their applications for visa because they answer all questions asked too earnestly, and indeed those questions ought not to be asked in the first place. You do not need to tell them that you will stay longer than 3 months, because they li...

Re: I would appreciate some more information on that.

First of all it is a hypothetical situation. It seems to me that staying apart for 18 months and visiting each other does not constitute breaking of relationship. In addition a couple living apart meets residential requirements for EEA4. Why are you suggesting this might be an abuse of EU regulatio...

Maximum is 4 weeks, in your case scenario its now time you find out email to the embassy strongly complain.

You may also want at this stage make complaint to solvit and European Commission, I think maybe Solvit can even help you with compensation, not sure though.

EEA Family Permit and travel to UK without it?

Hello Everyone Some time ago as some of you may know my wife applied for family permit which was refused on the grounds that our marriage is of convenience. Some time later we managed to get Schengen visa and travel to Switzerland, at the moment both of us are looking for a job here in CH. However I...

Personally I think that we cannot determine whether the marriage of convenience took place or not because of minimum information given in this thread and also this information is very unclear. Personally I think that Marriage of convenience does not make both parties guilty if it took place, but I t...

what you should know as a hint is that UKBA regularly follows National immigration law in making decisions where in fact they should follow European Law, but this is usual thing for them not exception as far as I know from reading this forum.

Well to my judgement your refusals are usual thing for UKBA to do, so don't be surprised, many people go thru this unlawful treatment like you. If you asked me apply again with minimum information required, and write a letter which will represent your knowledge of your rights as Union Citizen, upon ...

I think even if you stayed for longer than 3 months without job you could still remain there. I don't know exactly how it works with those 3 months but when I first arrived to UK 8 yrs ago I never knew anyone who stayed there for more than 3 months and was removed, I think for this to happen you wou...

thank you guys As far as I know these restrictions are valid for 1 year so maybe next month they will decide to remove it. In worst case scenario we want to work there just for awhile so our main concern is our rights for the first 3 months, since restrictions can't apply in this period, if someone ...
