ILR - no acknowledgement letter received

Hey guys,
I sent my ILR10 application but did not receive any acknowledgement letter but I got a biometric enrolment letter after 2 weeks.
I saw on the skydrive that most people got their acknowledgement letters first within days and biometric after months.

Is mine a bad sign?!
any experience?

ILR APPEAL -Help!

Hello

When you appeal for ILR 10 years.
1. should the appeal be based on the initial application but with new evidence proving that they were wrong?

OR

2. you can provide new information (unrelated to the refusal decision) to show why ILR should be given on other grounds.

Thanks for your input

New student visa rules and doing a second degree

Hey guys! I just completed a Masters course in Marine Biology (5 years). I used to study a business-computing course before for about 2.5 years. I want to complete the BSC degree in business-computing, one year left. Under the new rules, can I still apply for the BSc in order to complete the course?...

You have not actually defined the gap. What was your leave when you applied, when did you apply, what date did your previous leave expire and when was your new leave issued? Long residence applications can take six months or longer to be emitted. My student visa expired on 10 January 2004- and I ap...

ILR 10 years - one Gap

Hi I'm planning to apply for the ILR 10 years. I have a gap of 21 days and that was the first time I applied( a student visa). My sponsor was out of the country at that time and I had to wait to get their bank statement. I did not know that you can still send the application and send a cover letter ...
