BRP address change status

I have submitted a change of circumstances form almost a month ago but haven't heard back yet. Is there any way I can enquire about the status? I couldn't find any phone number/email address for such information on gov.uk.

ILR query

Hello
My wife got her Tier 1 visa in June 2010. Will she be able to apply for an ILR in May 2015. I have heard from some people that ILR will be closed for Tier 1 from April 2015 or something like that?
Can anyone please clarify?
Thanks
Hitesh

Re: ILR query - when can I apply

Thanks. I am aware that age should be related to the first time leave is granted. My query is whether Tier 2 is considered as a leave to remain or should I look at the age when I switched to Tier 1. My understanding is it should be Tier 2 age but still want to be 100%sure by getting a confirmation f...

Thanks Amber. And as far as points for age is concerned, do I put my age when I got my Tier 2 (March 2010) or Tier 1 (Aug 2010)?

ILR query - when can I apply

Hi...I came to the UK in March 2010 on Tier 2 (general) visa and moved to Tier 1 (General) vias in Aug 2010 while I was still in the UK. I got my Tier 1 extended for 3 years in August 2012 and is valid till Aug 2015. Will I be eligible for applying for ILR in March 2015 or Aug 2015? There haven't be...

Ok...so now that we know that there is no such guidance as not more than 6 in 12 months, it looks like we are at the mercy of the immigration guy at the port who is going to judge the pattern as there is no objective definition of "successive" and "frequent". This is so weird.

Thanks for the immediate response. I think its more to do with the mood of the ECO. However, I just found a link which says that there is no such a guidance. This link. This page has information and guidance for the immigration officers. The link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/policyandlaw/guidan...

/Thanks guys. Sorry if my questions are getting boring but I really want to get this right.

So if my mother comes over for a 5 months' visit followed by a 3.5 months break and if the cycle is repeated, is there any chance of this pattern being considered as amounting to de facto residence?

Thanks M. Do you know what is "de facto residence" exactly? I tried to lookup on the web but couldn't find any specific definition.

Another thing I would like to add is that this is the first time my mother has got a 2 yr visa. Prior to this since end of 2010, she would get a 6 months visa, come over here for 5 months, go back to India for at least 3 months and then get a fresh 6 months visa. Is all this history taken into accou...

Frequent and successive visits and "de facto residence&

Recent changes to the immigration policy says that a general visitor - "does not intend to live for extended periods in the United Kingdom through frequent or successive visits". This has been introduced to "guard against abuse by those whose repeat visits amount to de facto residence...

also see VAT1.5 Frequency and duration of visits Thanks for this ban.s. This is helpful. However, on reading this again, I realized that this is about the ECO assessing whether or not to grant a visa. I am more concerned about what would happen when my mother comes to the UK. Will the officer at th...

Gap between visits - General visitor

Hi My mother got a 2 year general visitor visa in November this year. Its a multiple entry visa and the duration says 180 days. She came to UK in mid November and now we will all travel back to India for 3 weeks starting first week of Feb. This means she would have already spent 2.5 months in the UK...
