I am very confused about this 180-day absence requirement for ILR. It is mentioned that absence should be in line of entitled work holidays so 28 days per year. My wife got this letter which state that her visa should mention either "standard" for 5 years or "non standard" for 10 years but the actual visa doesn't have any of those terms. So how would I know if her visa is 5 or 10 years route? You and presumably your wife are on the Tier...

Does my employer need to have cos allocation for the indefinite leave to remain application or this is just needed for extensions? No. Do I need to pass the "life in UK" test before the ILR application or this is just needed for citizenship? You need LIUK test BEFORE you apply for ILR. Al...

How long should I be on the required salary before applying for settlement

Like, imagine that my salary is 30k now and I will apply for indefinite leave in October next year should I be on £35,500 salary one day before I apply or like 6 months before I apply?

I finally was able to call the home office and they confirmed your reply and said as long as I didn't change my name then I don't need to notify them.
