UKBA case worker stated
"can apply within 28 days of 5 years" does not mean that you dont have to have the complete 5 years of leave to remain.

You still have to have complete 5 years of leave even when applying 28 days before 5 years.

I will take UKBA to court if they do this to me because they have clearly mentioned that we can apply within 28days of expiry. I discussed this with caseworker. I applied my student visa renewal on the last day of expiry & got it renewed,

So in the form
Have you ever stayed in the United Kingdom beyond the end of your period of leave?

What explanation do i provide for staying beyond my expiry date.

How does UKBA check if i was outside UK during a time? My passport which had the travel stampings was lost & is now replaced.
