I got married last year in Casablanca, Morocco; however due to the long process of marriage which requires tons of paperwork, I had to return as soon as the marriage contract was formed which took almost 1 month. For this reason, and due to...

Only thing I am worried about is that I have 6 months left, whilst it says a minmum of 12 months further funding required when using a stripend in category C? As I am combining categories will this matter?

So back to my original question, could I currently combine my stripend and employment income? I will be paid the stripend in the future too.

Category A and C can be combined. Hi thanks for your reply. If I was to apply after my university funding finished, could I still use the bursary as non-employment income over the past 12 months? I ask because of the following 5.14The gross amount of any specified non-employment income received by ...

Hello. I was just wondering if I could apply under category A. I have a part time job which pays me £4000 per year. I also am a PhD student. Currently I have 6 months of funding left and I have had this funding for the past 3 years. This funding is at £16427 tax free, so around £20000 gross. Do I me...

PGCE Bursary or UK Spouse Visa

I am confused so was wondering if someone could help me. The UKBA website says that for a bursary 12 months of funding are required at the application date. My PGCE, which will pay £20,000 tax free for 2013/2014 pays 9 monthly installments. These installments however pay the entire £20000 and go fro...

Language requirement

Hi

I would just like some clarification. The new English language requirement to enter as a spouse from October 2013, does that apply for initial entry? I have been told many contradictory statements and just wanted some clarification.

Regards

Hi

Could someone please tell me if toefl is an acceptable form of English test that can be used? I don't think it is but just wanted to make sure. If not, then my spouse will have to travel around 600 miles to do the test in a different city.

And to be honest, in the current culture of 'get the numbers down at all costs' how can we be sure UKBA won't refuse for some other trivial reason even if you meet the financial requirement? I'm sure they will find anything to not give you a visa.Instead of looking for reasons to give you a visa, t...

Its ridiculous if they don't. My tax free salary of £16416 is equivalent to a taxable salary of £21127.39 which is well above the £18600 minimum. I feel that this would be just another way that the UKBA is trying to ruin peoples lives.

Dear all, I would like to bring my fiance over to the UK in the future but am concerned by the new immigration laws of £18,600 minimum salary. I am currently a PhD student and I earn a studentship for the duration of the four years which exceeds this amount which is around £19,800. I was wondering a...
