spouse visa is different and dependent visa is different. dependent visa is for points based immigrants. spouse visa is for permanent residence(ilr holders). so in our case, even ur dependent is wife you will apply for dependent visa which do not have requirement of 18k plus.

there is no requirement of income for dependent visa, its for spouse visa.

As a director you earn salary and as a shareholder dividend. You can vary your salary. For example in one month if your company earn good money say 1000 and in other month if not making good money say 500 or zero. So its really up to you. But as i said its good idea to put urself on paye as director...

yes its better to get registered as employer with hmrc as director on paye system. However, there is no requirements to take salary every month, its up to you as director to take salary or not. You can always phone to hmrc and ask them for your employment history. If they have used ur national insurance then agency name will come there. However as you have already claimed it under ILR35, then i am not sure what affect will it have on extension, as i think now your accounts will be prepared...

could you please explain further. Your friend must be working under national insurance with another employer OR not registered with hmrc.
