Dear All, I am now in a total panic mode. I called UKBA. The lady on the phone informed that attributes section should be based for 80. I was under the impression that the attribute section never changes from extension to extension. Last time, I cleared for 75. Currently I will not qualify if it is...

Now the question is ; was entry clearance given on the basis of B1 or A1 because their is no clear indication in PBC that you degree were comparable to B1 or A1 at the time of entry clearance? My confusion is same. How can I find-out that when I applied for initial entry clearance for Tier-1 (Gener...

Based on the recent statement of changes announcement, the NARIC statement of comparability with a letter from the institution should suffice, I see no reason why not. Thanks for clarification Amber. The thing is the ESOL exam centre near my home conducts test 2 or 3 times in a year and last date f...

For me the confusion is: I have B.Engg and M.Engg from Pakistan and have UK NARIC letter of comparability for both of them and also have letter from my Institute that B.Eng is taught in English which I used when first applied for HSMP/Tier-1 under transitional arrangements. Recently I tried to get U...

The highest grade you can get at FCE is Grade A (>=80 points) which is equivalent to C1 but you still will be awarded B2 Level no matter how well you did. The point I am trying to make is about minimum grade requirements (WEAK,BORDERLINE,EXCEPTIONAL) outlined in that document which to me seems illo...

I have to get B1 in listening and Speaking which I am sure I will get. Result is in first week of October so fingers x. Now even if Home office stay firm on this requirement, I am already done with it. I would not be so sure about that. Have you checked here http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/siteco...

Yes you are right. You will be using rules (even age) against rules in place according to when first leave was granted.

So in your case this will be "in-place before 6th April 2010".

I hope this will help.

Yup I am married :) But its not a main reason for this; main reason is 2 extensions with 2-dependents both times.

Have you actually bothered to read the SET(O) form. First of all many thanks for your reply...

Going in overdraft (mostly) effects ILR ?

Hi,

Next year in March I will be applying for my ILR and almost every month my account goes into planned overdraft. Is this going to effect ILR ?

Also I know loan won't effect ILR but is credit-card balance can effect ILR (never missed minimum payment each month at-least) ?

Thanks

I am pretty sure they will never ask about your job at Tesco; and please keep in mind that here in UK not a single kind of job is classed as crappy job, so according to my understanding everything will be fine for you.

Others can give more details and correct me if I am wrong.

I am 99.9% sure of what I am writing about. You don't need to show co-habitation docs if you were already married and applied for your T-1 (G) visa before arriving the UK. When I applied for ILR, I had all the co-hab docs, and the CW did not ask for them. Before I left after been successful, I aske...
