Since the financial year is from April till March, I didn't have my tax documents for the last year.
Tax documents are essentail to claim points in the earning category. You should still have submitted the tax documents for the financial year ending April 2005.

I'm 100% sure that if you apply for Leave to Remain before your HSMP is decided the Leave to Remain team will hold onto the application until a decision is made on the HSMP application. Once a decision is made they will then process the FLR application. I know at least 2 cases where the FLR was rej...

What visa is he currently on and how much time has he spent on it? One of his obvious options is to go back to his home country and await the result of his HSMP application and then apply for EC. The downside is if he is on a visa that leads to settlement in 5 years time, then his ILR clock will res...

I am afraid the FLR when it comes for consideration will be rejected because your friend does not have an appoval. Unfortunalty the turnaround for FLR is a lot faster than HSMP approvals.

You dont need two forms of evidence for age proof in the first place. Your notarised copy of passport should be sufficient for this and will be taken into consideration.

Notarised copy should do.

It doesnt have to the driving license, it could also be a birth certificate or copy of passport that shows your date of birth. If you have an original birthcertificate, then thats the best option.

In order to provide proof and claim the points you need a) Marriage Certificate You then need to prove you have lived at least 2 years together. Your ILR clock will start ticking not from the date of your visa but from your date of entry into the country. From that point onwards, 5 years on you can apply for ILR.

Yes, you should be able to score points for significant achievements although do note that most people have difficultly claiming points in this area. You need to read through the guidance notes carefully and provide enough authentic evidence to substantiate your claims.

It shouldnt hurt the assessment on your application but they say patience is a virtue. Also the more calls the case workers take, the slower their progress will be in handling the cases.

You need two forms of evidences

A. Payslips
B. Tax Returns

I would also include the bank statements for that period if I were you. Print outs are a bit dogdy, you should have them attested by your company.

Each fresh application will be treated on its own merits and not on the success or failure of the previous application, definatly not on how you have utalised your previous visas. Applying for HSMP is all about getting 65 points. If you have the right documentation, weather or not you got HSMP appro...

Is it like, one cannot spend time of over 3 months outside of UK to sustain his HSMP status?

Thanks,

Like I said before, there is no specified number of days you are allowed to spend outside the UK for the purpose of getting an extension.
