Personally i feel there are no restrictions on going out of country after application is filled. Only issue is they might want to contact you for some details and for which its best of your interest to be reachable through all contactable ways. i.e by post , email, phone

child was born in India before father had ILR and became British Citizen. Mother was in tier -1 dependet visa at the time child birth. just made MN1 application today

To continue from where I left..I got my passports back with request for return of partners document made on wife's application. I then went on with MN1 application today using Bristol NCS. I got two of my friends with British passport to sign as reference. counselor was only interested in my ILR car...

I am not expert but have applied for parents visit visa recently.

I do not think i month break is big concern if you can send proof of changing jobs and that you have good funds to support.

if possible send p45 of old job and joining letter of new job.
