Please help, applying for ILR with unpaid leave under Tier2 G

Hi I can't find any clear answer to my question below. Really appreciate if someone can help me. I am going to apply for ILR with five years Tier 2 (general) visa. I had one month unpaid leave outside the UK (the maximum allowed without breaking Tier 2 continuity). It was to attend my sister wedding...

Changing job, 12 weeks notice on my contract

from reading other posts, it is recommended to resign after CoS is assigned and new visa application is approved.

Am I allowed to work in old company using visa from new employer for 12 weeks long?

thanks

A follow up on this topic.

The rule says a period of unpaid leave in excess of one month.

Can I take say 20 days unpaid leave, follow by 20 days paid leave, then 20 days unpaid leave? In that case I do not take unpaid leave in excess of one month in a single period?

Can someone provide clarification on absence?

Hi I am on Tier 2 General visa and planning to take a long holiday (about 3 months). I want to find out if I will still meet the requirement for settlement. During the continuous residence period, you cannot be outside the UK for more than 180 days in any 12 consecutive months. The absences must be ...

Please do not misquote me. The circumstances of the poster in the thread you have linked to are different to yours. He already has ilr and his wife is currently outside the UK with no UK visa. Therefore she needs to apply as the spouse of a settled person. In your case if your wife applies to join ...

Dependant of ILR previously on 5 years Tier 2

Background: UKBA website says partner of a settled person previously on Tier 2 has to apply for depedent of Tier 2 instead of partner or settled person http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/visas-immigration/partners-families/citizens-settled/spouse-cp/can-you-apply/ Also in this post, but Greenie said ...
