Travel back to the UK whilst applying for a passport abroad

Dear all

I am planning to apply for my first adult british passport abroad after attending the ceremony. I understand that this process may take 10 weeks. I now need to travel back to the UK for a short meeting during the 10 week period. Can i still use my ILR to enter the country?

Thanks.

Apply for the first adult British passport from abroad

Dear all

Has anyone applied for their first adult British passport from abroad? After my ceremony, I will be based in Hong Kong for a while and I wonder how long it will take me to apply for a British passport from Hong Kong.

Thanks.

Help. Naturalisation

I submitted by application through an immigration adviser early June. So far, neither I nor my advisor has received any acknowledgment letter. The fees still have not been debited from my bank account. I am anxious to know what has been going on. Is there a number that I can call the nationality tea...

Going for PEO appointment.

For the 4-month study leave, I did not leave the UK so it is not an absence from the UK.

I am more concerned with the overseas client secondment.

Look forward for comments from the seniors.

Questions on ILR

going to apply for ILR soon. I entered into the UK in summer 2008 with a WP ICT and transferred to T2 ICT in 2010. I worked for one employer throughout my stay in the UK. During my 5-year stay, I took a 4-month unpaid study leave but did not leave the country. Will that affect my continous stay? I a...

Thanks a lot. Does that mean that I can apply for ILR only 3 months after I receive my new T2G even though my new T2G has a term of 3 years?
