Documents required on ceremony day

Please can someone tell me what documents they need on ceremony day, when I booked they said they will write me a letter a week before the date and will let me know what to bring. I have to send my passport to HMRC and haven't got it back, so was wondering if I will need passport on the day?

Same happend with me when I tried making appointment with NCS leeds, they make me wait 10 days and then were giving me an appointment a month later, I went ahead and send my documents via Royal mail special delivery! saved £130 fees for joint application + £250 increased fee! they are rubbish!!!

Thanks alot Jambo, that clears all my confusions even after reading AN booklet.

Yes I came here first on student visa in Feb 2008 which was changed to marriage visa in 2009 & then ILR in 2011 so completed my 5 years last month.
