I'm in the same situation now. This new role which I will be taking within the same company will have me doing a different type of work. Not sure yet if the pay will rise but it should. Will notifying UKBA require a new application?

Just wanted to say thanks for the help! My visa was received mid January and indeed I applied outside of the country (in the USA).
It was received in 4 weeks time (spanning winter holidays to be fair).
Just wanted to thank and confirm the advise received here!

switching from Tier 1 PSW to Tier 2 Dependant possible?

My wife's PSW will be expiring this year. I have recently acquired a Tier 2 Sponsored Work visa. Will my wife be able to switch to a Tier 2 Dependant visa or will she need to apply from outside the country?
