Work dates and Funds help required. Urgent! Manci please?

Hi I am on PSW at the moment. It is expiring on 30th June 2013. My employer is ready to sponsor me and has an allocation to assign me a COS. Should the start date on the COS be 1st July 2013 or can it be earlier, say 1st May 2013. Will it affect my visa application in any sort if I submit it in the ...

Maintenance letter required? I don't think so..

Hi arun, I am about to apply as well. My employer is maintaining funds and has mentioned this on the COS. Even the guidance says that 'just a tick' in the COS is enough. Apart from that, it does not specify to submit a letter from employer or any kind of sponsor note. Please suggest if you have any ...

Hi tikejhya

Firstly you are exempt from RLMT if you are currently on Tier 1 PSW and switching to Tier 2 General. You need an unrestricted COS from your sponsor. May I know when is your current visa expiring and what SOC code are you mentioning on your COS?

Hi Mustuk,

Firstly, your working hours should be minimum 37.5. You cannot apply if you work less than 37.5 hrs. You should convince your employer to increase your working hours to match the appropriate salary. You do not need to submit your payslips.

Hi Jeevojay, your salary has to be 26k for 37.5 hrs minimum. You cannot mention a salary figure less than that to the job title you have mentioned. Else it will be mistaken for another job title which is 25k. Hence, the job title/salary and hours should be at or above nqf level 6/26k and 37.5 hrs re...
