Mikilo, I'm speechless. For a father's name to be in birth cert, he should be present at registration if you are not married. That does not mean he had contact with the child in my case. Did you state that he had contact with the child but cannot take care of him? Well,I can only hope and wait. It's...

Sorry to hear that mikilo. I think that's the trend now. My heart beats faster when I hear news like this. It's disheartening. The appeal court is going to be busier that ever now. Let's wait for your refusal letter to know the details.

If EEA national lhas lot job for a short period/few months, treaty rights is still exercised as worker if he/she registers as a jobseeker. Therefore, can claim jobseekers allowance. Not sure about the housing and income support.

Are you going together? If yes, you should not stay out of UK more than 6 months in any one year. If the EEA national should stay for more than 6 months, there should be a tangible reason like education, illness, pregnancy etc. You been absent from the UK for a longer period can have an effect on th...

Wiggsy,
I admire your fight for your family and your wife in particular. I believe that if those who work at the HO experience this sort of family ties, they will understand when it comes to family issues. Keep it up. Your wife would ve proud of you, honestly.

Wiggsy, I can understand your frustration. Your wife is here legally so why should she report. Do you know when those newly appointed will start their jobs? Did the guy mean if we still send email to Rob, it will be forwarded to the right address? Why can't we have the address then. I'm waiting for ...

Email them every other day. Like I said you don't lose anything. Be firm in your email all the time. They will get fed up and give a concrete reply.

It's possible that the child's dad might have acquired his citizen after his birth so he cannot automatically gain his dad's citizenship. EEA2 will cut the whole story and journey short.

Mikilo2008. If you want to know the outcome of the DRC application before you apply for EEA2, then I would advice you push push push and push them to make a decision. Whatever it is. The sooner the better. The benefits of Eea 2 far outweighs that of DRC so go for ithat. When they brought the new DRF...

@mikilo2008. For me,you are much better applying for residence card as a spouse than DRC. Your son would be covered on EEA2 as family member. Did u include him in the DRC application? Get all the documents required for eea2 application and proceed with that. Cross reference your DRC documents with t...

@wiggsy,
Have u finally received your passport?
If they say next week,its just around de corner so let's wait and see what they would do. I'm sure they would grant your wife so you would leave them. They are under pressure and that's what they don't like.
