I have spoken to my accountant today. We will have a lump sum declared on the income form; invoices and receipts are not issued (its for private tuition.) Only some of this is evidenced as going in to any account, but even without the cash in hand stuff I have still earned enough to push us over the...

Hello, thanks for the reply.

I work without expenses; the work I do requires nothing apart from using a pdf file from my home, so the entirety of it is not expenses.

So yeah, the 13k is all taxable

Yeah, unmarried partner visa.

She is currently here on a Post-Study Work visa to expire in July 2014.

We need to apply before March 2014 so I can use the 2012-13 Tax Year for my self-employment
