Re: biometric

The difficulty my wife encountered is the Passport Office objected to a current foreign passport in maiden name even though naturalisation was done successfully (by HO!) in her married name; (all was backed up by same foreign passport plus marriage certificate). So the passport office blocked the B...

Re: biometric

... Home Office lady was quite relaxed, if and when the application is successful the certificate will be in her married name. I don't see why the passport application will be problematic as you have to attend an interview to double check the identity so as long as you produce all the documents on ...

Re: biometric

Hello, My wife is going through a similar yet opposite situation. She has submitted the Naturalisation application with her married name, marriage certificate as the evidence of name change. Her current passport is in her maiden name but NCS didn't even count it as a problem, extra comment was added...

Re: November 2014 - Naturalisation Application Timeline

'Home Office torture'? Really? We all knew it was going to take up to 6 months and just because others have been approved sooner than you, you think this is a torture? Get some perspective here, it's a privilege not an entitlement.

Hello, Sorry to hijack the post but first timer and don't know how to start a new post.. I am planning the first passport application soon but all my previous passports (South Korean) are expired, meaning I do not hold a valid passport/travel document. It wasn't a problem for my ILR and Naturalisati...

Hi everybody, This is my first post at this forum, hope to find some tips before my application for ILR. I actually have been in the country much longer than 10 years but the 'continuous stay' is only being completed this year. My biggest concern is that my passport is expired and my home country is...
