Hi Manci situation: I am currently on tier 2 ict (long term staff) since jan 2010. and ILR is due in dec 2014. question: if I try to switch to tier 2 general from other sponser(because of no project with my current employer), do my dependents have to apply to change their visa also ? Hello there,

Has one question regarding this. if I change the sponser for better job from Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General category , do i have to re apply the visa for my dependent also?

I think there are probably many factors in why some applications are processed faster than others (i.e. whether or not there are dependents, switching or extending, salaries, etc.). This is very stressful (I'm at risk of missing my sister's wedding in a couple of weeks) but have found this forum to...
