Thank you f2k. Also, do you think I am using the most appropriate process to apply for British Citizenship? yes i believe you are using the most appropriate process, in my opinion. the requirements for registration are less strigent than for naturalisation and also cheaper. the only issue is provin...
you dont have to mention it as it has not gone to court. the guidance form is quite clear on that You must give details of all criminal convictions both within or outside the United Kingdom. These include road traffic offences, but not fixed penalty notices which have not been given in a court. Fixe...
As none of the options apply to you, just leave that part blank. you will have noted that those who use this form are aged 10 and above therefore quite a lot of them would not be able to complete that part of the form. so just fill the part of 'Student' and leave the rest empty. you should have noth...
i think i put current name and at the end put 'nee Maiden name', same referees is fine i was applying for me and spouse so filled in one form and put my name on it. i would say maybe put child on their own form seeing fee is separate to your joint one with wife you can write in there 'born in UK'
since you didnt supply the test certificate on your ILR application, just fill the naturalisation section and include the certificate as part of your supporting documentation
I agree with sushdmehta, its better to go through the 'hassle' of getting it corrected now than the pain and suffering you will go through whilst you are wwaiting, wondering whether they will accept it or not. or worse still having to do it all over again. Also is a good idea to get the 1st referee ...
Did your mom renew her passport at the same high commission thats refusing to take you aunts.
you may want to contact the foreign commonwealth office to get confirmation of this 'requirement'. If renewing through IPS in the UK all you need to do is supply the last passport.

As per my understanding, once you get ILR, you can apply naturalisation on your own after 1 year of ILR... subject to standard T&C.. it does not depend on your partner.... ] also total number of years in UK should be at least 5 years. and yes it is correct, once you have ILR you do not need you...
how about letters from employer(s). Also I understand you can contact HMRC for 'replacement' p60 or some form of confirmation of tax (not sure of the exact name). That failing your payslips could be sufficient

...also, i have read of people who have said No, and then the officials found out, either thru the fact that there might be stamp in the passport or maybe they cooperate with other countries, and the person was refused on grounds of deception and banned for 10years.
Does the questionnaire / form ask for your status? In any case I still think he needs to be honest. Being dishonest could lead to all of you being in serious trouble. I would like to believe that they do treat each case on its own merits so your husbands case should be dealt with based on what he ha...
Providing false information might cause problems later, e.g when applying for British citizenship or even lead to ILR to be revoked so in my opinion it is not a good idea to hide.
