Re: Brother's ILR- CCJ and civil dispute

Hi CR001

Thank you for your reply.

Do you mean if this matter goes to court, it could be an issue? What happens if he pays it after a court judgement?

Brother's ILR- CCJ and civil dispute

My brother has been disputing a payment due to issues with the seller. If the issue goes to court, will it affect his ILR? He is due to apply next year.

Re: 28 Days Grace Period

Any applicant who is applying for leave to remain must not have remained in the UK for longer than 28 calendar days after the expiry of their original grant of leave, on the date of their application. Remaining in the UK after leave has expired is commonly known as overstaying. The 28 day period of ...

Re: Post Brexit Discussion

Someone on here claimed most commonwealth citizens must have voted leave, but I don't think that is necessarily true. I, and pretty much everyone who I know from commonwealth countries, voted to remain.

Re: Post Brexit Discussion

Many leave voters seemingly voted against free movement of labour. Therefore, surely remaining an EEA member would be a U turn on what was promised?

Did you receive a biometric enrolment letter? If so, then I imagine that your IHS payment was accepted as biometric enrolment letters are only sent if an application is valid.

Re: BRP

I remember that on the March processing time thread, one member said he had to wait for over a week for his card to arrive. However, if you do not get it by Monday/Tuesday, you should contact the Home Office. Probably just a processing delay. Also, I don't think DX courier deliver on Saturday like R...

Re: P11 refused as replacement of RT FPS

Yes, you can reapply without your passport. You can tick that it is elsewhere in the Home Office in your application. When the original leave expires, they keep the passport and it is returned at the airport I believe.

Earlier HO wasn't that strict. I know of one successful applicant who got extension with a subway franchise.
That was in December though.
They have toughened up now.
