Re: ILR Urgent: Away from UK for 6 days when unemployed

I've been on TIER 1(General) PBS category and about to apply for ILR. I need to furnish evidence of absences from the UK for the past 5 years. I went to France on Tourist Visa for 6 days when I was not in any employment in the UK and was looking for a new job. I just accompanied my wife to France w...

How long your VISA is valid ? Without job ILR fee would also a burden . isn't it ? If you are concerned then alternatively you can wait until you get a job especially when you are very hopeful of getting one soon. It's valid until the end of the month. I have managed to accomodate some money for vi...

What you need to do is have all interview mails /letter etc and tell them that you have been trying hard. As far as i remember in your last post you said you are hopeful of getting one ...

anyone ever had any issue due to unemployment/funds?

Hi I realise that for Tier 1 applicants it is not a requirement to be in employment all the time and there is no fund maintenance. But would be nice to hear any successful cases where they were unemployed at the time of ILR application and were they asked anything about the funds at all? (as being u...

SET (O) application: 'home and finances' question

A couple of questions bother me in the home and finances section. 1) Are you working in the UK? : I don't have a job right now, but will get one very soon as I am in the final stage of the interview process. Is it advisable to just say yes and add a comment that I am in the final stages of the emplo...

The period between entry clearance being issued and the applicant entering the UK may be counted toward the qualifying period, as long as it does not exceed 90 days. This can occur if the applicant is delayed travelling to the UK. Provided the period of delay does not exceed 90 days, it will not be...

We got our ILR APPROVED in Croydon, I would say fairly excellent service. Appt was at 9.10 but went in 8.30, after all the usual procedure which finished by 9.50, because I had 3 dependants. My ILR was ready to collect in 10.40, yes just 50 mins for the decision. My application is straight forward,...

If you have taken the Life In The UK test in 2013, does your current address or postcode appear on the certificate? The reason I'm asking is that I'm about to take the test tomorrow in London, but I have just realised that since I'm moving to a new flat soon, when I apply for ILR in late September,...
