It depends on how you are meeting the financial requirement, ie salary PAYE employment or self employment.
Choosing not to include the paye income. So it is only going to be company salary & dividends.

If you apply for ILR, under long residence, your visa my probably be granted in February/ March 2015, and your wife will have to restart her clock again, and she may not qualify for ILR until 2020. It will all depends on how long the person has already spent in the UK in a lawful capacity which will decides how long he or she has to wait before securing settlement.
