Thanks... It's hard for me to believe an authenticated passport copy (commission of oaths) from ireland won't be accepted.

It's awkward presenting a phone as a proof of Id at immigration port. I personally wouldn't try it.
Can you point me to where on the website the original pp of the EEA citizen is required for her husband EEA permit application.

She needs to send her passport, she may request it back immediately, she doesn't need her passport to travel between the countries, a snap shot of the bio data page on her phone will suffice. The immigration in IReland needs her passport....you can't travel between ireland and UK without a passport...

Thank God, I received my invitation on thur morning for the 4th at 8.20am.....I got my approval in jan. Was unable to attend March ceremony. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Goodness, I was hoping for end on may...But i guess i should be happy if we get June ending. Goodness, regretting i missed my march ceremony.
I hope they are considerate with the ceremony dates, alot of people need to travel for the summer holidays!...

To me, as a graduate, some jobs I would like to apply for and do, you need to be an Irish citizen. 2ndly.... I get to save on visa fees & stress of applying etc. (Uk- €100+ for 6 months visa. Gnib 350 per 2years!. All in all...peace of mind! As for social benefits, u are entitled to it whilst on...

Looks like everyone that was granted got their invitations. Unfortunately I am away and ll return a few days after the ceremony. My ticket will cost a fortune to change...I pray the next ceremony will be in May...so sad I will miss this...I really am upset

I didn't send the letter too, I just wrote my ref. at the back of the picture, the bank draft aswel. I pray the ceremony is early April. I am away till 1st April.....congrats to everyone

Congrats to everyone, I guess the backlog is totally cleared. I sent my brothers application for him early October 2013, he also got His approval today....it took 3months and 2weeks! Based on 5 years residency! Fastest application I have come across.... So happy for everyone! Can someone guess when ...

Don't kill yourself with worry. Apply for it, be honest about the offence & include paid fine evidence. You won't have any issues or long delay

Only a few people from the forum are awaiting their approval. I think you will get yours this week, wait till Friday....also, I think we got to stage 3 around nov. Like myself...so don't worry, it ll arrive.

Guy, my letter was written, signed and posted on the 23rd jan. I received it on the 24th...our postman came a bit late...so be rest assured that you will have your letters by next week... :D thanks

Many thanks to everyone, I got my approval this morning. I applied 6th of February 2013.
