Re: Wrong confirmation letter

Thank you all for your replies and guidance. We have now received the BRP and it's correct. So it seems that the mistake was limited to the confirmation letter they gave us.

I don't think any further action is required.

Re: Tier 2 Dependent Child born in UK

CR001 is correct.

She would have been British if at the time of birth either you or your wife had ILR or British Citizenship. Since she was born before either of you were permanent residents therefore she will need to be naturalised first and then applied for the passport.

Re: Wrong confirmation letter

Thank you guys. But I don't remember case workers coming at all to get things signed off. Someone comes and gives the decision and documents back that someone is definitely not the case worker. And they definitely don't ask to check details and get anything kind of receipt signed at the end. At leas...

Hi All, My dependent applied for her ILR today at Croydon Premium Service centre today which was successful. She was on a Tier 2 dependent visa and we applied using Set(O) application form for her ILR since she has now completed her 5 years in U.K. Her application was successful but the confirmation...

Re: Set(O) or Set(M) for Tier 2 dependent

Thanks Waseem. Appreciate the reply and clarity.

It's the statement "If you got your current visa as your partner’s dependant after they settled in the UK, you must apply as the partner of a settled person instead." threw me off.

Set(O) or Set(M) for Tier 2 dependent

Hi, My wife is on tier 2 dependent visa and I have now gotten my ILR. She has now qualified for ILR as well. The confusion is which form do we use for her application, Set(O) or Set(M)? Since I have already settled does it mean we have to use Set(M) for her or she will still have to go through Set(0...

Can Tier 2 General Dependent open a Limited Company

Hi,

My wife is on a Tier 2 General Dependent visa and I wanted to confirm if she can open her own Limited Company. The visa expires next year in 1 Nov, 2014 and we will be again applying for renewal then.

Thank You in advance for the support.

Tier-2 Dependent visa refused

Hi All, We recently applied for my wife's tier 2 dependent visa so that she could join me and stay with me in UK. The application was refused with the following decision: "You have indicated that you completed your marriage contract with your husband on 31 December 2012 in Karachi in Pakistan. ...
