Re: ILR + Dependant on Tier 2 General Valid till Jan 2017

It is worth to write an email to ukba and confirm that dependant can remain on existing visa after main applicant get ilr. It would be helpful if some one share his experience about same situation to confirm what is correct.

Re: Switch from Teir4G to T2G with dependants inside UK

Hi, Please can you tell me whether a status letter which indicate course start date and letter date (more than 12 months) would be sufficient for change from t4 to t2 . I am a bit nervous to ask with uni to provide a letter as per ukba formats as they might be reluctant to switch from t4 to t2.. I a...

Rest of the time I was either on Post study visa or student/Tier-4 visa. My work permit/tier-2 visa duration in total comes out more th...

ILR as T4 or T2

All, I am completing 10 years this year and will apply for ILR on long residency basis. There is no complication in my 10 years legal stay (as far as I know). I am not a lucky person and always got the things after a lot of hard work and odds. I came here in 2005 on work permit. Due to redundancy I ...

Re: Dependent visa validity after spouse ILR on long term ba

Thanks Vinny,
Do we have any HO rules/guidance in support of this please?
Without any supporting HO reference it would be a big risk as at time of dependant's ILR, HO can say that dependant's Tier - 4 visa is not valid due to change of main applicant's status (ILR) a year ago.
