Re: Divorce/ partner's details
Presumably you are applying in your own right. In which case your ex-husband's details aren't required.
Yes I am but the form states that all relationships must be disclosed and even ex-partner's details should be provided. It makes no sense but I don't want to risk i...

Divorce/ partner's details

Hi I have a question about the naturalisation form (Form AN) which asks about partner/ ex partner details. I was married briefly 10 years ago and the marriage was annulled within a few months. I can't for the life of me remember my ex partner's year of birth or where he was born (I can guess the cou...

Re: Extension or ILR??
No,that should be alright
I have to say though that I first entered the UK on 17 June 2010 and then left again on 10 July and then finally moved on 10 October 2010. I then went back home for a month in December, which totals to 128 days. I hope that's not a problem - ...

Re: ILR - Why is it so confusing?

I wish I had saved it - it was definitely on this forum and there is some UKBA correspondence on the Internet too (on whatdotheyknow.com) about the same - it made no sense but it was there, in black and white...very odd. I sent it to my lawyer, and she gave the response I've quoted above. From what ...

ILR - Why is it so confusing?

So I'm applying for ILR early next year. I've been reading this forum and I have to say, I'm more confused now than I was when I started out :) I'm on Tier 1 General visa and am trying to figure out the continuous period. Someone here said that if I was out of the country for a few days between jobs...

Re: ILR - couple of questions

To add to the confusion: When I was between jobs, I left the UK on holiday from 27 December 2013 till 21 January 2014 - since I wasn't officially 'employed', I can't provide evidence of being on annual leave. Is my passport stamp evidence enough? I read somewhere online that leaving the UK on holida...

confusion - help! Appointment in 2 days!

Hi, I have original bank statements which show where my salary is deposited every month. The first two statements (out of 12 months) are in a different bank account (but with the same bank - Barclays) and the last 10 are in a different account, only because the bank upgraded my account and the accou...

Omert, I have the same 'problem' - I applied on 24 March 2010 and my visa is from 13 April 2010 so I enter 24 March 2010 as the date of application. I have a payment receipt to prove it as well, but I think you should be ok even if you don't have a receipt...my understanding is that you got 3 yr vis...

Thank you, both. Appreciate your input. My concern was the 'half-hidden' account number I guess. I didn't want that to become an issue! But I'm heartened to read your experiences...thanks!

Maintenance of Funds - bank statements

I'm applying in Croydon PEO in March for Tier 1 General extension. My bank (Barclays) sends statements to my home address, issued on the 3rd of each month. I need to show funds from 12 December 2012 to 12 March 2013 (90 days), which means that I will have to cover the gap between 4 March and 12 Marc...
