Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

Thanks! I sent it on the 27th so I hope I get it soon. Is there a chance they won't reply? If they don't, should I re-send it?

Re: COA with no right to work BUT we ARE married

For those who sent a letter to get the COA corrected, how long did it take for them to reply or send out a new COA? I sent it around 2 weeks ago and have not heard anything yet. :(

Also, in the letter it says; if you need to contact us by telephone please use the number on this letter. Guess what, the tel, fax ...

If I were to apply for via EEA2 (for my husband), how long would COA take? Also, when is the earliest I can request the passports back? If I send them a next day delivery envelope with the application will they return it quicker?

Re: EEA2 application ... want passport back . need informati

Request your passport back here - https://eforms.homeoffice.gov.uk/outreach/Return_of_Documents.ofml If you choose EEA family member, you can request a return of your passport for ID or travel purposes and not withdraw the application. Please let me know how quickly you get your passport back. Thanks!

Re: travel while eea2 card in process singh route

Sorry I can't give you any advice on your situation. I wanted to know how long it took to get your passports back? Did you give them a date to have them returned by and did you submit the return of documents request online?
Thanks!

Re: UK Family Permit

So, to use the UK permit my husband and I have come to the UK. When entering the UK, there was no immigration control whatsoever so we went and asked someone if we could get an entry stamp (to prove we came into the country). The security guard insisted we didn't have to get an entry stamp and also ...

Re: Non EU Citizen married to EU Citizen

Calvin, you said on my thread that "A non-eu family member of an eu-national can travel alone every time, Once he gets an eu 5 year residence card."

Please can you explain as reading from the reply above, I'm now really confused!

Can a non-eu travel alone?

Hi there I wanted to know if a non-eu national with a stamp 4 (and re-entry visa) travel back to Ireland alone from the UK? Or does it have to be with/joining the eu family member. If so, what do we need to prove he will be 'joining' the eu member. Also, what other instances can a non-eu family memb...

I'm not sure what the process is for going to the local one but we never asked garda in Dublin, we just went. If you are in a rush, you could go to the Dublin one. Just call up an confirm though.

I would agree. The EEA route is much easier and cheaper but I'm not sure how it works with dual citizenship. I'm sure someone here will explain.

Re: spouse of a british citizen moving to dublin

when your wife has a residence card and stamp 4EUFAM she (in theory) should be able to travel around Europe with you visa free (of course she will need an Irish re-entry visa - yes...check it out if you don't believe me). CC You still need to get a re-entry visa even with an Ireland 4EUFAM resident...

Thats a good idea Directive/2004/38/EC. We will see how much time we have. How quickly can they return the passports if we request it with our application?
(sorry what do you mean by wild abandon?)
